Generating presentations

How to choose a topic:
  • Choosing a topic depends upon forte of a person.
  • He/she must be well versed in the topic to be presented.
  • Must either be on current issues.
  • Topic can also be based on research conducted by the concerned person.
  • Topic should be closely related with the theme provided.
Arrangement of points in a slide:
  • Content must be termed to crispy points.
  • Flow chart, graphs,pie charts are required to make the slide more attractive and interesting.
  • Points must be short not longer than 2 lines.
  • Slides must be enhanced with pictorial representations.
  • The theme and font should be so soothing to ordinance i.e., it has to look professional and not kiddish.
  • Use same font and size throughout the presentation.
  • Neutral colored fonts are recommend for better visibility.

Order of slides in presentation:
  • A presentation must begin with a title slide consisting of topic of presentation name of person presenting and the institution they belong to.
  • Second slide is INTRODUCTION slide that should introduce the topic to gathering.
  • Third slide must consists of OBJECTIVES of the topic of discussion.
  • Then comes the METHODOLOGY of the project (if any) .
  • Then go on with the content of the topic.
  • To conclude end with results or conclusion. Results for research related presentation and conclusion for others.
